Effective Evangelism Training Meeting and Networking Opportunity
On Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 10 a.m. in Houston, Texas, I will be conducting the first in a year long series of meetings or "MEETUPS", focused on evangelism training and networking people together for the purpose of sharing the Gospel. I already have several people signed up for the meeting.
This will be an informal gathering that will give you an opportunity to: *Share ideas for sharing the Gospel*
*Find others to help you or your church to carry out an event*
*Become better equipped at reaching your friends and neighbors*
and
*Keep you connected to what God is doing in the city and around the world.*
I would love to see you there. Bring your friends. Everyone is invited.
The location is yet to be determined, but will be sort of centrally located since we have members from all over town.
I realize that there are several of you who do not live in the Houston area, or even in the United States for that matter. I just wanted to get this invitation out to everyone. Maybe we could start a similar type of meeting in your town. I'd like to hear from you, if you're interested.

Witnessing Tip #2
Since the Christmas Season is upon us, most people are already considering spiritual things. Granted, they might not be considering things from a Christian point of view. That's where you come in! Invite someone to church or a special Christmas program. Use the holiday to start a conversation. Saying "Christmas" or "Holiday" is a hot topic this year. Don't be obnoxious about it, but find out what they think. It just might get them to ask you what you think, then you can tell them what you know about the "Reason For Every Season" - JESUS!!
