Welcome and Thank You for subscribing to the Effective Evangelism Training Ezine/Newsletter.

This is the first issue, so I would like to give you an overview of what you can expect and how you can help to spread the word.

The initial plan is to send out one issue per month with articles about soulwinning methods and techniques that you can use to become more effective at sharing your faith in Jesus Christ with others.

There will also be Bible studies and devotionals that are related to evangelism and leading others to the Lord.

As I am able, I will include links for products and other websites that I believe will be helpful to you.

As a charter member of this newsletter, I need your help. Currently, there are about 20 people subscribed to this newsletter. Some are from as far away as Kenya, Africa! I would like to extend the influence of this evangelism tool to the four corners of the earth. My desire is to truly provide a one stop source for evangelism and discipleship ideas and resources.

Our target is to have 100 people subscribed to the newsletter by the end of December.

You can help by inviting your friends and contacts to subscribe, just as you have. Here is the link: www.effective-evangelism-training.org

I'll keep you posted on the progress.

Evangelism Tip #1

Many people will quote and refer to John 3:16 when trying to witness to others. Try this: Refer to John 3:17. People in this generation have been programmed with the message that Christians and the Christian message is intolerant and a source of guilt and condemnation. John 3:17 is a great ice breaker because it quickly gets to the point that God is a God of love and mercy. Jesus did not come into this world to condemn it, but to save it!!

Start with that message and then you can go back to explain the cross and the sacrifice. The sacrifice does not make sense to most people because they don't understand the motive. The sacrifice is a direct result of God's love for us.

Try it and let me know what happens.

Blessings, Rev. Teddy Levron
