A Letter From Our Founder

Greetings in the Name of the Lord,

For the past 23 years, I have been engaged in evangelism and teaching ministries. It has been a joy and privilege to serve the Lord in this capacity. It has been exciting to watch as the lives of men and women, boys and girls, have been transformed by the power of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

For some time now, I have been praying about the direction for this ministry effort. God has led me through many seasons and ministry projects over these years, shifting the area of focus from the "doing" to the "teaching" and back to "doing" several times. There is always an overlap in what God has called me to do in relation to ministry, both "doing" and "teaching" at the same time.

Over the past 2 years, God has been laying the groundwork in my understanding for the season of ministry that is now upon us. The internet has provided a tremendous opportunity for sharing resources, training materials, Bible Studies, and more. I have had the privilege of being able to interact with over 1100 Pastors, teachers, new Christians, and seasoned veterans, sharing insights and ministry experience across the globe.

Now, God says it is time to get better organized, to facilitate even more opportunity for learning, sharing, and ministry partnerships. Jesus will be returning soon. I feel an urgency in my spirit. I believe we must become better equipped to share the Gospel, and to Disciple those who choose to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ. We must together focus our attention on "equipping the saints, for ministry. Over the next few months, I will begin to implement this plan that I believe God has directed me to.

There will be Four Websites, which are outlined below, that will work together to provide and support Evangelism Training, Discipleship Training, Ministry Training, and a world-wide community of believers to hold each other up in prayer, and to share ideas and insights related to winning souls and making disciples.

This is an exciting time for me. The potential for the number of souls to be won to the Kingdom is tremendous. It will only be limited by our level of passion for the work of the Lord. I am always very cautious when approaching a new direction for ministry. I cherish your prayers as I continue to build these online resources.

Take a look at the outline below. Pray for this ministry effort. I am looking forward to hearing from each one of you as we work together to Win Souls and Make Disciples for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Four New Websites - Training Resources for Individuals, Churches, and Ministry Schools WorldWide

These websites are all under construction or renovation. Over the next few months, each of these will take shape to offer resources to help you win souls, make disciples, and equip the saints for ministry. Our goal is to have these websites fully functional by the end of 2010, just in time for Christmas ministry and launching new ministry efforts for 2011.

www.CommunityLighthouseNetwork.org This site will serve as the HUB for all of our evangelism, discipleship, and ministry training programs. We will build a worldwide community of believers who can come to the website to discuss ministry efforts with one another, share missions projects, and pray for one another. We will also use this website to create an online learning environment, including ministry training webinars, Bible studies, and training courses. All of the other training websites will be linked to this site for easy access.

www.Effective-Evangelism-Training.org This is our original website. The focus of this site is to offer resources to help better share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Here we share evangelism methods, and the core message of the Gospel.

www.ConnectionsMinistryTraining.org This site will expand the training from evangelism, to methods for follow up and building relationships with those who have recently committed their lives to the Lord.

www.GreatOutDoorsClub.org This website will feature our new OutDoors Club curriculum, which is one of our most effective tools for reaching families in our community. The Great OutDoors Club allows us to use God's creation to help us explain who God is and the relationship that He desires with us. The curriculum features outdoor activities, Bible lessons based on those activities, and opportunities to meet new families in an atmosphere that builds relationships. With a worldwide emphasis on "Going Green," we believe that this will be an awesome tool for reaching people for the Lord.
